How to get the icon on your home screen
You will not find us in the App Store or the Play Store, and that is on purpose. The Driver Zone installs straight from the web — nothing to download, nothing to update, and it takes about thirty seconds. When you are done it sits on your home screen with its own icon and opens full screen, exactly like any other app.
iPhone and iPad
Use Safari. It will not work from inside Facebook or Gmail — if you tapped a link there, open Safari yourself first.
- Open Safari and go to stationbusnation.com/driver
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen — the square with an arrow pointing up out of it
- Scroll down that list past the sharing options
- Tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add in the top right corner
The icon lands on your home screen. Open it from there from now on, not from Safari — that is what makes it run full screen with no address bar.
Android
Use Chrome. Samsung Internet works too — the menu is in the same place.
- Open Chrome and go to stationbusnation.com/driver
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner
- Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen if that is what yours says
- Tap Install, then Add if it asks again
Some phones offer it on their own with a bar across the bottom that says Add Driver Zone to Home screen. Tapping that does the same job.
If it does not go the way it says
- No “Add to Home Screen” on the iPhone list? You are not in Safari. Close what you are in, open Safari, and type the address yourself.
- Nothing in the Android menu? Pull the page down to refresh it once, then open the three dots again.
- Icon is there but it opens in the browser? Delete it and add it again — something went in half way.
